Second Party: Pain de Cadurcis [Chaworth].
Place or Subject: The king grants to Pain and his heirs that they should have forever one market every week on a Thursday at his manor of Aldrington [Alderton], Northants, and one fair there every year to last three days, namely on the eve and on the feast-day and on the morrow of St Margaret the Virgin, unless that market and fair are to the nuisance of neighbouring markets and fairs.
