Description

Folio: 409. County of Yorkshire. Charters or muniments found in the castle of Pontefract, Yorks, in a box, marked by a sign. Quitclaim.

First party: Adam, son of Thomas de Renevile.

Second Party: Edmund de Lacy.

Place or Subject: One knight's fee in Askerne [Askern], which Master Bernard of Cornwall held of Thomas, and half a fee in Waddeswrd [Wadsworth] which John de Loungevilers held of Thomas in the same vill.

Additional people: (witnesses) Richard Foliot; Robert de Stapelton; Richard Gramaticus; Adam de Preston; John de Hoderode; Nicholas Renias; Robert, parson of Kinston; Osbert, parson of Silkeston [Silkstone]; Walter de Loudham; Robert, parson of Hechelay; John de Courtenay; and Alexander de Ledes [Leeds].
