Folios: 408v-409. County of Yorkshire. Charters or muniments found in the castle of Pontefract, Yorks, in a box, marked by a sign. Quitclaim.
First party: Geoffrey le Rat.
Second Party: Henry de Lascy [Lacy], earl of Lincoln and constable of Chester.
Place or Subject: The third part of the fee of one knight in Gytton [Gipton] and 8s of yearly rent with all appurtenances in the same vill, which Alexander de Ledes was accustomed to hand over to Geoffrey for a certain tenement which he held of Geoffrey in the same vill, namely at Pentecost 4s and at St Martinmas 4s.
