Folios: 326-327. County of Yorkshire. Mainprise of the men of this liberty [of the abbot of Whitby], convicted of trespass of hunting in this forest, that they behave well from now on and not do wrong in the same:

Roger Drye: His mainpernors are Thomas Strik, Robert Goos, Roger del Dales, William Godyer, Thomas Ulf and Robert Powe.

Robert del Dales: His mainpernors are John de Kirkeby, Hugh Greryng, William del Dales, Geoffrey Lite, Richard Drye, and Peter Ulf.

Hugh of the Halle: His mainpernors are Hugh Herman, William Bredegh, William Scot, Stephen Dousthweit, Roger de Eston, and Robert de Hilderwell.

William Haie: His mainpernors are Robert Haie, Hugh Geryng, John Mason, Thomas de Marton, Robert de Catwyk, and John de Barton of Hakenesse [Hackness].

John the Chaplain of Hakenesse [Hackness]: His mainpernors are John de Wykam [Wykeham], Adam del Sartre, Richard de Lith [Lythe], John Tendbarn, Thomas de Kynthorp [Kingthorpe], and Robert de Roderham [Rotherham].

John Tendbarn: His mainpernors are Hugh Geryng of Topclif [Topcliffe], Roger Tybbeson, Robert Patrik senior, Walter Bere, Robert de Spoford [Spofforth], and Robert Godeshax.

William, son of William Moison: His mainpernors are Hugh Geryng of Topclif [Topcliffe], Roger Tybbeson, Robert Patrik senior, Walter Bere, Robert de Spoford [Spofforth], and William Icham.

Henry le Parcour: His mainpernors are Hugh Geryng of Topclyf [Topcliffe], Roger Tybbeson, Robert Patryk senior, Walter Bere, Robert de Spoford [Spofforth], and William Icham of Wynchestre [Winchester].

William Scot: His mainpernors are John de Wykham [Wykeham], Peter de Lincoln of Whiteby [Whitby], Thomas de Marton, John Norreis, William le Wayte, and John Mason.

Richard Drye: His mainpernors are Henry le Parcour, John de Dragby, John Kyng, Richard Topclyf, William del Dales of Hakenesse [Hackness], and Roger de Dales.

Stephen, son of Richard de Eskedale [Esk Dale]: His mainpernors are Hugh Sedman, John, son of Richard, William, son of Hugh of Wyspondale, Hugh Geryng, William Halman, and John de Kyrkeby.

Thomas de Dryffeld [Driffield]: His mainpernors are Hugh Herman, William Bledegh, William Scot, Stephen de Dousthwaite, Roger de Eston, and Robert de Hildirwell.
