Place or subject: A certain assart which Henry's father gave to him in the territory of Methelay [Methley] and Rouwel [Rothwell], namely the assart which is called Reynaldrod, and it lies next to the grove of Wakefeud [Wakefield] towards the north, namely by the same boundaries by which Reynald ever held that more largely and fully, with appurtenances, but excepting 12 acres of land and one alder grove called Raynaldeker, which Henry de Matelay, clerk, formerly held of Henry's father, whose homage and service remains to Fulk and his heirs.
