Folio: 178. County of Yorkshire. Agreement.
First party: Alan, prior of the church of St Nicholas of Drax, and the convent of the same place.
Second party: Roger de Laci [Lacy], constable of Chester.
Place or subject: The prior and convent, by their common council and assent, have given agreement to Roger's petition concerning James, their fellow canon, to whom Roger has committed the whole care of the hospital of St Nicholas of Pontefract with full power in his whole life, and that they shall not place any challenge by occasion of the said custody after the decease of the same James to the said hospital.
