Folios: 169v-170v. County of Yorkshire. Grant.

First party: Henry de Lascy [Lacy], earl of Lincoln.

Second party: Robert de Haldanby [Haldenby].

Place or subject: Wishing to show favour to Robert, Henry granted that Robert and his heirs are to have and hold forever 25 perches of land, moor and marsh in width with ground in Inkelmore in Henry's manor and soke of Snayth [Snaith] by the vill of Haldanby [Haldenby] in the places below written: namely three perches lying in one place at le Milndam by the moor of Gerard de Useflet [Ousefleet]. 9 perches, just as they lie by the moors of Folkwardby. 2½ perches, just as they lie next to the moor formerly of Joan at the Hall and Petronilla de Estoft. one and half perches, just as they lie by the moor formerly of William Tebaud. three perches, just as they lie by the moor formerly of Walter, son of William the clerk. and 6 perches, just as they lie next to the moor formerly of Richard le Ray. Which same lands, moors and marshes extend in length from the old arable land of Haldenby towards the vill of Thorn [Thorne], to dig turves as far as the deep moor and deep marsh last in length, and similarly of the said width in the same places, unless those moors and marshes in the future will be narrower through the places.
