Second party: Richard, abbot of Seleby [Selby], and the convent of the said place.
Place or subject: John granted to the abbot and convent and their successors, in order to surround with a ditch, enclose and make their profit in all ways regarding 40 acres of land in Fippin, measured by the perch of 20 feet, ten of which are from the wood and 30 from the coppice joined to the said wood in Fippin towards Poueligton, without the opposition of John or his heirs.
