Second party: Simon de Montefort [Montfort], earl of Leicester.
Place or subject: The king grants to Simon that he can enclose his wood of Shypelegh [Shipley], which is within the king's forest of Northumberland, at his will, and make a park therein without a deer-leap, and that the earl and his heirs can hold that wood enclosed in this way forever without occasion and impediment of the king and his heirs and all his bailiffs and ministers of the forest.
