Folios: 157-157v. Northumberland. Appointment of justices.
First party: Richard, bishop of Durham.
Second party: Richard de Aldeburgh, Roger de Essh, Thomas de Fencotes and Roger de Blaykeston.
Place or subject: The bishop appoints Richard, Roger, Thomas and Roger as his justices, together with those whom they associate to them, to take an assize of novel disseisin which Henry, earl of Lancaster has summoned before them by the bishop's writ against Ralph de Neville, knight, and others contained in the bishop's original writ, concerning tenements in Carlebury [Carlbury] and Ulneby [Ulnaby].
County: [Northumberland].
Dated at Durham by the hands of Robert de Calne, the bishop's clerk.
1 Oct in the 10th year of Richard's term as bishop.
