Description

Folio: 133v. County of Lancaster. Copies of charters by which diverse liberties are claimed in this eyre: Grant.

First party: Robert de Ferrers, son and heir of William de Ferers, formerly earl of Derby.

Second party: John Gernet.

Place or subject: One burgage and a half in Westderby [West Derby], which Richard de Hibern' [Ireland] at one time held, and one messuage with appurtenances, which Robert Hirdmon held formerly in the same vill, and 80 acres of land with appurtenances, by perch 24½ feet in the same vill, namely those which lie by the boundaries from the road which goes by the hay of Henry, son of Nicholas of Westderby [West Derby], to the wood of Derby, in length to the boundaries of Waleton [Walton], and in width, just as it is contained, between the ditch which goes towards Waletone [Walton] outside Harwom to the ditch in the wood of Derby.

County: [Lancashire].
