Description

Folio: 133. County of Lancaster. Copies of charters by which diverse liberties are claimed in this eyre: Confirmation.

First party: Agnes, countess of Derby.

Second party: God and the church of St Mary of Mirivall' [Merevale] and the monks serving God there and their successors.

Place or subject: The gift and grant which William, her said husband, made to them of the manor of Magnohole [Much Hoole] with appurtenances and a certain part of pasture and wood in Altkar [Altcar], just as the charters which they have from William concerning this bear witness, without any reclaim of her or her heirs.
