Description

Folio: 133. County of Lancaster. Copies of charters by which diverse liberties are claimed in this eyre: Grant.

First party: William de Ferers [Ferrers], earl of Derby.

Second party: God and St Mary and the abbey and monks of Mirivall' [Merevale].

Place or subject: The whole of his hay of Altemersh with appurtenances, namely from the middle of the river of Alt' to Merepull, and then to Forpull, and then into Rudpull, and then to Bartonepull, and then by the boundaries of the hay as far as Londlach, and then by the boundaries of the hay to Musterpull, just as it descends from the moss by Withenes, and so to Alt', and so following Alt' to Merepull.
