Description

Folios: 132v-133. County of Lancaster. Copies of charters by which diverse liberties are claimed in this eyre: Grant.

First party: William de Ferrariis [Ferrers], earl of Derby.

Second party: God and the church of St Mary of Mirivall' [Merevale] and the monks serving God there.

Place or subject: The whole of that part of pasture and wood in Altkar [Altcar], namely just as Musterpull descends in a straight line from the moss by le Wythenes to Alt', and so following Alt' as far as Alepulle, and so following Alepull to Wyldmarpull, and from Wyldemarpull by the boundaries of the hay as far as Musterpulle.
