Folio: 131v. County of Lancaster. Copies of charters by which diverse liberties are claimed in this eyre: Grant.
First party: King John.
Second party: The burgesses of Prestona [Preston].
Place or subject: All liberties and free customs, which Henry II, the king's father, granted to them by his charter. He also grants to them the toll of the wapentake of Amondernesse [Amounderness] and their fairs at Preston at the Assumption of St Mary to last for 8 days. In addition, the king grants to them the pasture from the forest called Foulwode [Fulwood], and from the same forest as much as they will need to build their vill by view of the king's foresters.
