First party: John [John of Gaunt], duke of Lancaster.
Second party: William de Chorlegh' [Chorley].
Place or subject: The duke leases to the said William, his heirs and executors the manor of Ulneswalton [Ulnes Walton] with the appurtenances, together with the moiety of the manor of Eccliston [Eccleston] with the appurtenances, and 15s 2¼d of rent in Kelgrymesargh [Kellamergh], together with the rent of the moiety of the manor of Leylond [Leyland], which John de Faryngton held of the said duke for a term of years. And with the reversion of the said moiety of the manor of Leylond [Leyland] after the term of the said John de Faryngton, with profits of courts, meadows, pastures, wastes, turbaries and other commodities, and the rents of freeholders of the said manors and moieties of the manors. Excepting the lands and tenements, which Master Richard le Leche holds for the term of his life from the grant of Henry [Henry of Grosmont], duke of Lancaster in the said manor of Ulneswalton [Ulnes Walton], and excepting the trees of Southwood within the said manors.
