Folios: 41-41v. County of Chester. Grant.

First party: Ranulf, earl of Chester.

Second party: Eustace son of John.

Place or subject: The whole of the honor, which was of William fitz Neal, constable of Chester, in all things and dignities. Eustace is appointed (by hereditary right) constable and supreme councillor after Ranulf upon all the optimates and barons of the whole of Ranulf's land.
