First party: Adam, abbot of the monastery of St Peter, Gloucester, and the convent of the same place.
Second party: Henry, earl of Lancaster, lord of Oggemor [Ogmore].
Place or subject: Adam has appointed Reginald de Stanedyssh [Standish], fellow monk of his house of Gloucester, as prior of Ewenny, of which the said Henry is lord, and entreats Henry to admit him.
Dated in the chapter house of Gloucester.
Thursday in the morrow of St Paternus the bishop and confessor 1338.
