Place or subject: The free tenement with the curtilage and garden and all other appurtenances which Hugh de Troye, chaplain, formerly held in Monemutha [Monmouth] and which lies between the great way stretching to the river Mone [Monnow] in the old garden upon the pool of water and the ditch of the castle of Monemuthe [Monmouth]. Also that ditch to build upon, if he wishes, which is between the bailey of the castle of Monemuthe [Monmouth] and the house of the said Robert next to the churchyard of St Mary. And that stall below the wall of the said churchyard, which is between the stall of John Seingnori and the steps of the churchyard on the south side.
