Description

Folios: 17v-18. Wales. Quitclaim.

First party: Madoc Heen.

Second party: Edmund, son of Henry III.

Place or subject: Seicild Vakan, bond tenant of the said Madoc in Grosso Monte [Grosmont], with 22 acres of land by Welsh measure with appurtenances, and with 9s 6d of yearly rent, which he was accustomed to pay to Madoc at the feast of Michaelmas, Christmas and Easter. and David ap Knaython, Madoc and Llewelyn his brothers, bond tenants of the said Madoc Heen in the same, with 12½ acres of land with appurtenances by the same measure, and with 6s 2d of yearly rent, which they were accustomed to pay at the said terms. and Yevan ap Seicild and Wasmihangel his brother, bond tenants of the said Madoc, with 16½ acres of land with appurtenances by the same measure in the same, and with 7s 6d of yearly rent, payable at the said terms.
