Folios 713-714: Thomas Duval, HMS Fly, Carrick Roads.
Refers to an enclosed list of ships in the convoy but it is missing. Reports that some of the ships he was ordered to take in convoy have not arrived. Others had chosen to wait for the convoy with HMS Hussar as Admiral Lord Garlies had been ordered to protect them.
