Letter dated at Passau from [Georg Friedrich] the Prince of Waldeck [commanding the Bavarian troops in the Imperial service] to the Prince of Orange [Waldeck having originally served the States-General of the Netherlands] about the disputes between the Electors of Saxony and Brandenburg relating to the commander in chief of all the armies. The Duke of Lorraine, the Emperor, the Elector of Bavaria, the Kings of Poland and Portugal and the Pope are mentioned as are the Swabes [i.e. Swabians] and the Turks.
