Letter dated at St James's from the Duke of York to the Prince of Orange partly about the cold weather but also mentioning the trial of one Roswell [Thomas Rosewell] a Prebyterian minister, for preaching a seditious sermon at a conventicle for which he was found guilty of High Treason; the upcoming trial of one Hays 'of the same rebellious tribe' for corresponding with and providing money to Sir Thomas Armstrong.
