Part 2, Folio 217. Letter dated at London from the Duke of York to the Prince of Orange. 'I have had yours of the 2: and you may be sure that I shall do my part, in what concerns you, but tis necessary you do yours, to satisfy the King, and pray consider whether he has reason to be satisfied with several things you have done for some time past, I could say more to you upon this subject but am not encouraged to do it, since I have found that you have so little consideration for things I have said to you, which I thought of concern, to our family though you did not, which is all I have time to say at present, and shall still be as kind to you as you can expect'.
