Part 2, Folios 213-214. Letter dated at Windsor from the Duke of York to the Prince of Orange. He is pleased that the Spa waters are proving beneficial to the Princess and hopes they will have the effect she expects. At the Council 'on Sunday last' the King announced the appointment of Lord Rochester as President of the Council with Mr Goldolphin succeeding him at the Treasury and Lord Middleton, now an English baron, appointed Secretary of State.
