Part 1, Folios 156-157. Letter dated at Winchester from the Duke of York to the Prince of Orange. The Duke wishes that the Spanish had taken 'other measures' to have prevented the French invasion of Flanders without risking all as they do now and 'not have put so hard a task on their allies to help them'. The Marquis De Grana [the Spanish Vice-Roy in the Spanish Netherlands] is mentioned as are Vienna and Portsmouth.
