Part 1, Folios 128-129. Letter dated at Newmarket [Suffolk] from the Duke of York to the Prince of Orange. The weather has been very bad 'which has made this place be duller than it used to be'. Although the King has been prevented from hawking the Duke has been fox hunting. The races will restart tomorrow and will last until the King returns to London but he has not yet said when he intends to.
