Part 1, Folios 113-114. Letter dated at London from the Duke of York to the Prince of Orange congratulating him on his 'very bold and vigorous action' near Mons. He is glad that the Prince is well satisfied with Lord Ossory 'and his Majesty's subjects' who behaved themselves so well that he hopes that the troops who are on their way will not 'discredit the nation'. The Duke believes that the Prince will not be displeased with the instructions Mr Hyde is bringing to the Hague. The Duke of Monmouth is mentioned.
