Part 1, Folios 109-110. Letter dated at London from the Duke of York to the Prince of Orange warning him to keep an eye on one Freeman who the King 'now finds to be a great villain and one that plays foul both with' the King and the Prince. By now the Prince will know that ratification of the treaty has been sent off but by the last post from Holland 'we have heard what the Swedes have done, and that most people there look upon peace as certain, however we here shall not look upon it as done till all be concluded'.
