Part 1, Folios 97-98. Letter dated at London from the Duke of York to the Prince of Orange. The contrary wind having delayed the letters from Holland, their arrival is impatiently awaited as all things depend on the resolution where the Prince is 'for here we are all ready'. The money bill has been passed which is all that could be expected until England has actually entered the war. The Duke thinks that Parliament will only be adjourned so that if necessary it can be recalled. Lord Sunderland has been sent as Ambassador to Paris in place of Mr [Ralph] Montagu who is in disgrace.
