Part 1, Folios 95-96. Letter dated at London from the Duke of York to the Prince of Orange. He can say little in answer to the Prince's letter only that if the Prince does his part 'we shall do ours so that it absolutely depends upon what is done where' the Prince is 'for it is not to be expected that we should make any farther step till we are sure of you'. The bearer of the letter is Lord Ossory.
