Folios 194-195: Charles Rowley, HMS Eagle, Cawsand Bay. Confirming his arrival at Cawsand Bay anchorage in compliance with orders from Vice Admiral Lord Collingwood and Rear Admiral Purvis, enclosing copies these orders, the ship's log (not present) the condition of the ship and a list of ships in the convoy (not present); also explaining that on the night of 19 December, off Ushant, a heavy gale caused the dispersal of some ships, including HMS Brazer, which he hopes have long since arrived; also confirming that he has forwarded three boxes, two from Collingwood and one from Rear Admiral Alexander Ball.
