Court and Date of Trial: Berrima Circuit Court, Sydney, New South Wales, March 1846.
Crime: Wounding by shooting with intent to murder John Byrne.
Initial sentence: 15 years transportation.
Gaoler's Report: In Van Diemen's Land.
Outcome: Nil.
Petitions and letters: Petition from 21 inhabitants of Tipperary. Ireland, pleading respectable family, severe provocation and dependent family, with covering letter from Earl of Stradbroke.
