Captured ship: Hare in the Field of Flushing, otherwise Haas in 't Veld (master John Tuneson of Flushing, otherwise Jan Teunissen).
History: a Dutch privateer (60 tons, built at Zaandam), bound from Flushing on a cruise; taken about 2 pm on 26 February/8 March 1673/1674 about 5 leagues off the Start near Dartmouth by HMS Henrietta (Sir John Narborough commanding) and brought into Plymouth on 3/13 March 1673/1674.
Documents:- 2 examinations at Plymouth, 3 March 1673/1674; wrapper. Examinations mention that the captain's only documents were his commission and journal.
