Captured ship: Elizabeth of Topsham (master John Hillman).
History: an English ship (built at Looe, Cornwall), bound from Topsham to Bordeaux, in ballast; taken about 8 pm on 5/15 February 1673/4 about one mile off the Yealm, Devon, by an unnamed 10-gun Dutch privateer of Middelburg; retaken on 7/17 February 1673/1674 off Longsand Bay by HMS Greenwich (Thomas Bridgeman commanding) and brought into Dartmouth on 9/19 February.
