Folios 149-150. A letter from W [?William] Molyneux, dated at Chester [Cheshire]. He has filled up the [militia] commission with names he judges most loyal to the King, but without knowing the colonel's view he has not named the officers. Until he can name officers he cannot raise the company. Otherwise, all is ready, except for a want of arms. Lord Tyrconnell has already issued most arms from castle stores. Praises the diligence of the mayor [William Streete].
