Folios 135-135A. A letter from the Duke of Norfolk, dated at Norwich [Norfolk] concerning his command of the horse militia, and the prospect of invasion [by a force form the Netherlands]. Neither [William] Prince of Orange nor his party has correspondence in the county. Also mentions the 'new framing of the corporations', which has occasioned general satisfaction. Gives details of 'great disorders' in Norwich, with an insolent mob at the [Roman] Catholic chapel. The Duke was taken ill at Swaffam [Swaffham, Norfolk].
