Folios 291-292. A petition to Sir Christopher Greenfeild [Greenfield] [Greenefield], member of parliament, at his Chambers in Grays Inn, London. Concerns his association between the unidentified petitioner, perhaps of Garstang [Lancashire], and James Ashton, William Parkinson, John Anderton, Sil Ashcroft, and others, with whom he became bound for £200 each, twenty years earlier, to King Charles II through his Receiver of Revenues, the late James Lancashire. There have been differences about accounts between the petitioner and Tomlinson, but the petitioner believes a considerable sum of money is due to him for goods, rents, and other matters. Robin [Thorpe], Richard [Thorpe] and John Thorpe have seized his goods. Mentions a certificate from Anthony Raban; attorney in the Exchequer Mr Harpem; Isaac Appleton; John Anderton; Mr Parsons; Mr Eden; and Mr Thomas Greenefeild [Greenfeild] [Greenfield].
