Folios 285-286. A letter from D P [?Daniel Pulteney] concerning provisions for passes under treaty arrangements with Algiers [Barbary Coast]. He has a draft of instructions, prepared at Lord Carteret's office, with which, last year, Captain Scot was to complain of Algerian infractions of the treaty of 1664. The terms differ from what was provided for in the treaties of 1682 and 1686.
