Folios 139-144. A warrant to the Lord Keeper of the Great Seal, Francis Guilford, to issue a writ to the Lieutenant of the Tower of London, concerning the execution of the Duke of Monmouth. He is to bring him to the accustomed place before the Tower, and to hand him to the sheriff of London, to be hung, drawn, quartered, and decapitated, on 15 July 1685. Two copies. Folio 143-144. A warrant to the Lieutenant of the Tower, authorising the detention of Monmouth, Ford Grey alias Lord Grey, and [blank] Buys [Anthony Buys, Count von Buys, Buyse, Busse].
