Folios 104-105. A letter from Lord Chief Justice [George] Jeffreys [Jefferys], dated at Bulstrode [Park, Buckinghamshire]. Gentlemen near him are 'resolute to appose [?Philip] Wharton [?Baron Wharton] and [?John] Hamden' [Hampden], who are industrious to spread false rumours'. Hamden will assign his interest to Sir Roger Hill, [?who is] a 'horrid Whig' and a 'fierce exclusioner'. Sir Thomas Lee does a great deal of mischief.
