Folio 119. Mary Strode widow and executrix of Colonel John Strode late Governor of Dover Castle to the House of Commons. Petition reciting that she prays Lord Cornbury and Sir Joseph Williamson be ordered to waive 'their privilege as to her in this cause if any they have being but in the nature of trustees and your petitioner may be at liberty to proceed therein according to the course of the court for recovery of her just dues from the late Duke's estate and be therein protected by this honourable House'.
