Folio 83. Draft report on a petition, referred on July 19 last stating that the allowance mentioned in the petition is distinct from and never came with the Plantation Office's accounts but has, nevertheless, always been made to the petitioner and his predecessors as it relates to the Council Board and that it appears that for the year ending in January 1684[5] the petitioner had not received any part of it. Endorsed: Report on Mr ?Gauntlett's petition. On the back of the sheet is a memorandum that on 19 July 1688 the petition of the under-keeper of the Records for £100 due to him for providing books, papers etecetera for the Council Chamber and office was referred to Mr Blathwayt.
