Folio 151. Letter dated at Carlisle from Ba [?Basil] Feilding, clerk of the court of Holme Cultram, to William Aldworth [torn] to Katherine [of Braganza], the Queen Dowager, Pall Mall, London asking him to give judgment as soon as possible in the dispute that has arisen between Edward Lamplowghe [signs Lamplughe] when he was steward of the manor of Holme Cultram [Cumberland], and himself as receiver, as to whether the bailiff or the receiver should pay the court's annual fee of £1 11s 8d. Signed by Edward Lamplughe as well as the writer.
