Description

Folios 588-589: William Cuming, HMS Prince of Wales, Portsmouth Harbour. Encloses a letter from the Rev Andrew Lawrence, Chaplain of his ship.

Folios 590-591: enclosed with folios 588-589. Letter from the Rev Andrew Lawrence, HMS Prince of Wales, to Captain William Cuming, not dated. Because of the suit in which he is involved, wishes to resign his post as Chaplain. Wishes to record his thanks to Captain Cuming and to the Admiral for the way he has been treated.
