Folios 561-562: John Culverhouse, Regulating Captain, Liverpool. In light of the enclosed letter, reports that he has discharged William Hennesy and returns his documents. Also encloses [no longer present] his weekly return.
Folios 563-564: enclosed with folios 561-562. Letter from Thomas Barnes, 10 Grayson Street, Liverpool, to the Admiralty dated 26 November 1804. Their Lordships have requested a duplicate of the indenture for William Hennessy and proof that the application made on his behalf is not fraudulent. Encloses a certificate from the captain [of Hennessy's ship] of his goodness towards his widowed mother. Asks the Admiralty to direct Captain John Culverhouse to release Hennessy.
Folio 565: enclosed with folios 563-564. Certificate from John Raynes, Liverpool, dated 26 November 1804 that he has paid William Hennessy's mother the sum of one guinea a month out of Hennessy's wages.
