Folios 223-224: John Culverhouse, Regulating Captain, Liverpool. Reports that John Raymond, who was said to be an American, was impressed from a crimp house on 16 March because his shipmates said he was actually an Englishman. Raymond could not give any account of America and the document he produced does not appear to belong to him as the description does not match. The certificate has been left with the consul.
