Folios 648-649: John Cooke, HMS Salvador del Mundo, Hamoze. Reporting that Richard Crossman was received on 11 May from the Royal Naval Hospital Plymouth and has been a supernumerary as belonging to the Prince and since 15 October has his duty with diligence and sobriety abd obediance to command. Crossman produced a certificate signed by Captain Bayley that he lost his leg on 2 September 1800 on board HMS Havik in Lanyon Bay.
