Folios 625-626: John Cooke, Poole. in December after Lieutenant Leaver at St Alban's Head was superceded for neglect of his duty, he issued a genereal order to all officers commanding the signal stations. This was queried by Lieutenant Appleby and forwarded by Captain Kittoe. He i trying to firm up on the regulations wanted.
