Folios 565-566: John Colvill, Whitehaven. Reporting of his endeavours to recruit for Sea Fencibles at Whitehaven, Wokington, Navyport and Norre as per orders. Only 14 have been found.There are no pilots or fishermen at these ports, nor sea-faring persons who have Protections. The ship carpenters at these ports are in the Corps of Volunteer Infantry in Whitehaven and Workington.
